2nd Annual NWQR Toy Drive Sand Lake 2008 (ALL ARE WELCOME)

"Come on out for a good cause and have fun at the same time!
There will be a potluck lunch hotdogs will be provided so bring
something to share, I believe Terry (QuadDaddy) will bring chilli to go
along with. So we will still need plates, napkins, forks, spoons as well as
what ever condiments and side dishes people want to bring.
There will be a raffle for people that donate toys to get a chance to win
stuff, I already have a small folding camp table and a Cabela's shirt & hat
to be given away.
If you are wanting to donate toy's/money but are unable to be there
please still let me know and we can work out how to collect it."

I'd like to thank everyone who made the trip out to Sand Lake to be a part of our annual toy drive this year!!! I tried counting and figure we had somewhere between 45 and 50 people show up. It was great to have the Marines show up and take delivery of the toys from us (and give some folks some rides out in the sand). I hear they did a little customizing of their front bumper while out in the dunes. Hopefully they don't get into too much trouble for that

The biggest thanks go to Gabe and his family for getting it all set up, and bringing/cooking a bunch of food. Thanks to Terry for the gas (I mean chili). I'm sure there will be real "orchestra" around the campfire out there tonight.
